I’ve been looking forward to this game forever, as I’m sure everyone else in the gaming community has. Last week, Melbourne-based House House has finally launched Untitled Goose Game on the same day as Link’s Awakening and this little indie company has topped the charts.
But what’s so great about a game about a goose? Well, let’s find out!

Its been about two years since Daemon X Machina was announced at Nintendo’s E3 Direct and its finally launched on the Switch. From the trailers it looked like an amazing mech game with lots of potential. But reviews out thus far have been mixed, according to their headlines. I tried to avoid them before embarking on the journey myself, with slight failure.
So, game in hand, let’s see if it does well.

Like most 90s-born gamers, Spyro was one of the first ever video games I’ve ever played in my life and when a remaster was announced I couldn’t wait to get it…Until it was only released for the PS4 and Xbox One (which we’ve reviewed). And then I had no choice but to wait.

That’s right, this time you’re sitting on the Iron Throne itself and swiping it Game of Thrones style. I saw this on the App Store, during its pre-order period, and I’ve never tapped a purchase button so quick for a game in my life.

It’s not very often you come across a point-and-click game set in a historical… Heck, in this day and age, no one plays games of this genre unless they’re visual novels/dating sims! Right?
I’ve seen Commissar’s Contrapasso float around during my roaming of the r/GirlGamers subreddit and thought to check it out. When one sees a fellow lass create a game singlehandedly, one should support her. So I decided to have a go…

I’ve written a review on this game before but back then I had only played a measly two hours before I gave up. This time, with a bum (sprained) back and therefore unable to venture into the outside world, I decided to challenge myself to finish the game, no matter how long it took. And boy oh boy did it take me a while.
45 hours of game time later, I’ve finally completed 20XX after a cop-out (I switched to Revenant mode), two near-misses and one unresponsive game. I almost gave up too. But the satisfaction was worth it. Kind of…
