Star Wars Episode 1: Racer (Review): IT’S A NEW LAP RECORD

Anyone who knows me would know that I love the universe set a Long Time Ago in a Galaxy Far, Far Away. Star Wars was the epitome of my childhood – from the movies to the novels to the video games.

And now, one of my all-time favourites has been remastered for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Is it as good as I remember, though?

The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor Review: Oh hello, Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls Online has a new expansion: Greymoor. With little bits and pieces added to the overall game

Now, the entire Western Skyrim is open for adventurers to explore. And my gosh is it just beautiful. Best of all? I could enjoy this on my Mac.

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection reminded me of the good old days (Review)

Here’s a little secret: I love the Mega Man series. The original Rockman, the X-series, this series that I’m reviewing right now. You name it – I most probably love it… Probably

*side glance at X-7 and X-8*

When I heard that they’re remastering the Zero series for re-release, I had to buy it. And I did…on day one! I don’t do that often. But… is it as great as I remember?

Animal Crossing: New Horizons was the calm in my COVID-19 storm (Review)

A majority of us have had over two weeks to get settled into our new deserted island lives in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Honestly there’s no better time than now to for a game like this to be released, with almost everyone in lockdown or self-isolation thanks to COVID-19.

This is my first time playing an Animal Crossing title but I know of things and people off of second-hand information. I’ve honestly never been interested until now (though I would blame the lack of a Gamecube or NDS, really). Now I have my own Switch, I thought there wasn’t an excuse to not dive into this cult-favorite!

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is a mouthful to say…but an absolute Blastoise!

Let me start this by saying that I’ve never played any of the original Mystery Dungeon games that were on the Game Boy Advance/DS, but I do love the Pokémon series. Rescue Team DX is a remake and combination of the two original DS games, Rescue Team Red and Rescue Team Blue. Since I’ve not played them, I’m going into this with fresh eyes.

What I know about this series in general is that its a dungeon crawler where you are the Pokémon rather than the Trainer, and boy oh boy does that idea get me excited. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be a Pokémon?

Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl needs more flavour (Review)

Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl is another RPG developed by Level-5 (developers of the Layton series). Originally released in Japan in April of last year, Snack World is now available for the rest of the world to enjoy. Why “Gold”? Well, because this worldwide release features all the DLCs available from the Japanese version.

You play as a customisable character who has been hit with amnesia in almost all aspects of life except for your name, found unconscious at the psuedo-olden gates of Tutti-Frutti. “They must be an adventurer!” the quirky inhabitants of the castle exclaim. And thus, that is what you will become.

#ICaved and bought…Minecraft

I could have gotten it long, long ago. I told myself that if I ever got Minecraft that I’d want it in cartridge form for the Switch. More so to make absolute sure that I wanted it.

I know, I’m strange that way. But is a really good way to save money!

So since you’re reading this right now…I guess I did buy it?

#LateToTheParty Game Review: Pokemon Sword and Shield is an absolute banger, mate

I’m considering this a #LateToTheParty post because most people would have finished playing their copy of Pokémon Sword or Shield while here I am…just about finished because I only got my copy of Sword for Christmas.

What’s more perfect than immediately jumping into the Galar region when I’m in the area that inspired it’s creation?
